Parking Assistants will greet voters in the Jeter Drive Bays Parking lot (next to Reynolds Coliseum), and help remind motorists that parking in spaces designated for voters should be used for that purpose. Parking Assistants will also direct voters to Talley Student Union where they will vote in the early voting site. There are many volunteer opportunities shifts with this opportunity and we encourage folks to sign-up for as many as they like. The important thing to remember you are am ambassador of the University and of early voting, so a friendly welcome goes a long way!

Notes regarding the videos:
- I also mentioned making sure to let staff park with the disability placard, but I also forgot to mention that there are also a couple of "AS" assigned space users in that row. They are the coaches so, make sure you let them park too :)
- Again no need to move any cones around, you are greeting voters and usually they ask "Where do I park?" You can let them know "Any space, and if it the lot is full they can follow the signs to park in the parking deck."

People who are volunteering in the morning will likely be busy telling staff members not to park in the first row, and often by just standing with a Yellow Vest it makes people realize they should not be parking there, even though there is a sign...
The main thing is to welcome and greet voters with a smile and let them know we are thankful for them to choose Talley Student Union as their polling place!
Parking Information: Jeter Drive Bays and Reynolds Coliseum
We have two options for voters the parking spaces in the first and second row (bay) of Jeter Drive and Reynolds Coliseum Deck. If those two rows are full, there is a sign directing voters to park in the Coliseum parking deck that they can enter the last entrance on the left of Jeter Drive.
Checking the A-Frames.
Please make sure all A-Frames are upright and did not blow over. If any are missing or if the sign on the A-Frames is torn/defaced. Please email bjmathis@ncsu.edu so I can replace them.
COVID-19 Safety
As a reminder, it is NC State's expectation that everyone on campus wears a mask. Even though this activity is outside, because you may be coming in contact with the public please make sure you wear a mask for the entire duration of your volunteering. I also have given the opportunity for two people to work each shift. Please make sure that you all keep 6ft distance while wearing your mask with another volunteer.
