NC State returning students and staff are needed to assist with University Housing move-in days!
This opportunity is for apartments in WOLF VILLAGE -- Additional volunteer opportunities are available in other areas of campus.
Volunteers are needed between Friday, August 16 and Saturday, August 17 to fill various roles. Individual volunteers will assist new incoming First Year students and returning students by serving as parking lot attendants, unloading personal vehicles, carrying items from drop-off areas to student rooms, and assisting with elevator functions in high rise buildings. Specific volunteer roles will be assigned on-site by the area Volunteer Zone Manager at check-in, based on need.
Single volunteer shifts are 3 hours in length and will involve physical labor, often outdoors and involving carrying items up stairs. Assistance is needed rain-or-shine. Please wear clothes and shoes that you are comfortable moving in for an extended period of time, and don't forget a water bottle!
