Help us recover food on and established food recovery route in the Triangle! Accompany a paid driver on a truck route recovering food from grocery stores and wholesalers that would otherwise be thrown in the trash. At the end of every route, there is a food distribution drop off at a community partner site. Community partners are other nonprofit organizations like food pantries, rehabilitation centers, soup kitchens, and more. Volunteer today to help us recover and distribute thousands of pounds of food!

- Must be physically capable of climbing in and out of trucks which measure up to 2 feet off the ground.
- must be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.
A few things to note:
- Wear closed toe shoes.
- Dress for the weather. The temperature inside the warehouse is close to the temperature on the outside.
- Bring a refillable water bottle and a snack with you.
- All volunteers must wear a name tag to enter the warehouse. (Name tags are provided by the Food Shuttle).
