Embark to an unknown destination and engage in direct service with a local organization, while meeting new people and exploring our local communities!
Mystery Service Saturday is a program in Student Leadership and Engagement where students are given the chance to explore the volunteer and social opportunities around the Raleigh area. Students will travel to an unknown local service organization and engage in direct service. Afterward, students participate in a social activity that explores local North Carolina culture and helps them make more connections with their peers. Past events have included serving at local farms, food banks, parks, and a tiger preserve, as well as visiting museums, pumpkin patches, and petting zoos! Oh my!
This event will take place on Saturday, August 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.* An email will be sent to participants the week of the event to confirm their participation. Please email sle-service@ncsu.edu if you have any questions or concerns.
* The starting and ending time of this event is approximate and subject to change. A time line will be sent week of event.
