Join Student Leadership and Engagement during our MLK Week of Service!
Participants will travel as a group to the Rise Against Hunger warehouse and participate in a community-wide meal-packing event. We will work together to assemble nutritious, shelf-stable meals that are distributed to schools, clinics, and communities facing food insecurity around the world. Volunteers will measure, scoop, seal, and box thousands of meals in a fast-paced, team-driven environment—no experience needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to serve in Dr. King’s legacy of justice and compassion!
We have a group volunteer shift at Rise Against Hunger Warehouse from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. We'll meet at 1:15 p.m. at the Talley Tech Tower and travel together to the warehouse. We expect to be back on campus at 4:30 p.m. Transportation to and from the service site is provided!
