The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research.
The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
What We Do
We Provide Care and Support
We work on a national and local level to provide care and support for all those affected by Alzheimer's and other dementias. In 2024, the Alzheimer's Association provided care and support more than 10 million times through care consultations, support groups, education programs and more.
We Accelerate Global Research
As the largest nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research, the Association is committed to advancing vital research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure. The Alzheimer's Association is currently investing $430 million in over 1,150 active best-of-field dementia projects in 57 countries, spanning six continents.
We Advocate for Change
The Association is the leading voice for Alzheimer's disease advocacy, fighting for critical Alzheimer’s research and care initiatives at the state and federal level. Advocacy by the Alzheimer's Association has increased the federal funding for Alzheimer's and dementia research to $3.8 billion annually — a more than seven-fold increase in the last decade.
